Social benefits of iks


1. Employment relationship

As an iks employee you have a permanent position and can take advantage of an extensive range of social benefits.


2. Holiday

Your holiday entitlement is graduated depending on the period you have worked for the company:
in the 1st year – 26 days
in the 2nd year – 27 days
in the 3rd year – 28 days
in the 4th year – 29 days
as of the 5th year – 30 days.
It is also possible to take additional days off in accordance with your flexi-time account. You may collect up to 150 hours in your flexi-time account and they may be used up without restrictions subject to coordination.


3. Special leave

iks guarantees paid special leave in the following events:
if you marry – 2 days
if your wife gives birth – 2 days
for your own silver wedding anniversary – 1 day
should your spouse or child die – 3 days
should one of your parents die – 1 day
if your children marry 1 day
if you move house and furnish the residence yourself – 1 day


4. Holiday pay

iks pays holiday pay at 2.4% of your monthly salary for every holiday day. Per year this is equal to between 62.4% and 72.0% depending on the period you have worked for the company. The holiday pay is paid together with the monthly salary for the month in which the holiday was taken.


5. Christmas bonus

The bonus is graduated depending on the period you have worked for the company:
6 months – € 150.00
3 years – € 200.00
5 years – € 300.00

This is paid at the latest in December of the year; the reference date for the calculation of the Christmas bonus is the 30th of November. Prerequisite for this payment is that the working relationship has not been terminated.


5. Overtime

Insofar as overtime and extra hours are not covered by a special rule, surcharges will be paid.


6. Capital accumulation benefits

Following expiry of the probationary period, the employee has the possibility of claiming capital accumulation benefits in accordance with the 5th German Capital Accumulation Law at the sum of € 40.00 per month. iks guarantees a subsidy of € 27.00 per month on this.


7. Life insurance / direct insurance / pension fund

Following expiry of the probationary period, the employee has the possibility of investing part of his salary in the form of a deferred compensation as a direct insurance in accordance with § 3 No. 63 of the German Income Tax Act. Furthermore, we also offer a pension scheme via a pension fund in accordance with §3 No. 63 of the German Income Tax Act in the scope of a group contract. Insofar as legal and particularly fiscal changes occur, we reserve the right to adapt or change this commitment accordingly.


8. Shopping portal

"Employee benefits" The "Employee benefits" shopping portal offers you the best possible shopping benefits at over 500 renowned partner companies. The offer includes cars, consumer goods, fashion, multimedia items, travel agents, direct offers from manufacturers, mail-order houses, leading online shops, local offers and services.


9. Miscellaneous

Fundamentally, these special benefits are voluntary services provided by iks and we intend to guarantee them entirely every year. However, we must reserve the right to reduce them in part of even in whole in cases of difficult financial situations. In this case, there is no need for notification of the changes. All the named services are to be reduced pro rata temporis for times in which the employee is on maternity/paternity leave, on military service or alternative military service or otherwise unfit to work. In the case of being unfit to work, only the times shall be observed which extend beyond the period in which legal requirements foresee the continued payment of the salary.
